Hp Hewlett Packard Enterprise Aruba AP-345 RW Unified AP
The HPE Aruba AP-345 (RW) Unified Access Point is a high-performance indoor Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac Wave 2) access point built for high-density enterprise environments that demand fast, stable wireless for video meetings, collaboration tools, cloud applications, VoIP, and high client counts. AP-345 is designed for modern campus and enterprise deployments where coverage alone is not enough—you also need capacity, consistent roaming, and uplink speed that won’t bottleneck the wireless network.
Built for high-density Wi-Fi performance
AP-345 is engineered to keep user experience smooth when many devices connect at the same time. It supports Wave 2 MU-MIMO and VHT160 (160 MHz channels), improving throughput and efficiency in demanding areas such as open offices, meeting floors, classrooms, auditoriums, and large indoor public spaces. This makes it a strong choice when you want high capacity on Wi-Fi 5 without moving to Wi-Fi 6 hardware.
Multi-gig uplink to avoid wired bottlenecks (SmartRate)
High-performance Wi-Fi needs a fast wired uplink. The AP-345 includes a multi-gig Ethernet uplink (2.5GbE SmartRate) on its primary port, allowing the access point to deliver more real-world performance when connected to a multi-gig PoE switch. This is especially useful in high-density deployments where a 1GbE uplink can become the limiting factor.
Dual Ethernet ports for flexible installations
AP-345 provides two Ethernet ports:
-
E0 (Primary): 100/1000/2500Base-T multi-gig Ethernet
-
E1 (Secondary): 100/1000Base-T Ethernet
These ports support enterprise deployment options such as additional wired connectivity needs and resilient design choices depending on your network plan.
PoE powered for clean enterprise rollouts
The AP-345 supports PoE power from common enterprise sources, including 802.3at (PoE+) and 802.3af, simplifying installation and reducing the need for separate power adapters. This helps standardize rollouts across office floors and multi-site environments where PoE switching is already in place.
Unified AP: flexible deployment now, scalable later
As a Unified AP, the AP-345 is designed to fit into enterprise Aruba architectures and supports flexible deployment approaches—helpful for organizations that want a consistent WLAN platform across multiple buildings, branches, or campus zones. It’s ideal when you’re building an Aruba-based wireless network that can grow in scale and operational maturity over time.
